Qualifications

3–5 years of relevant experience in construction inspection or material testing.
Material testing experience highly desirable.
OSHA 10, First Aid, and CPR certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform sampling and field testing on construction materials including concrete, asphalt, aggregate, and soil.
Interpret civil construction plans and specifications.
Monitor construction progress, adherence to plans, and compliance with specifications.
Maintain detailed records of project quantities, daily reports, and changes.
Keep accurate redline and as-built drawings to document project modifications.
Communicate findings through written reports and facilitate information flow among all project stakeholders.
Ensure quality standards are met and proactively prevent construction defects.
Travel to project sites as needed, including night shifts and extended stays.
