Job summary

Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG in Alameda, CA is seeking an Associate Marine Service Technician to assist with troubleshooting, repair, overhaul, testing, and commissioning of engines and propulsion systems aboard marine vessels. Qualifications

• Two years of mechanical trade school or equivalent.
• Associate degree in engineering/technical field or related experience.
• At least two years field-service experience with mechanical/electrical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Travel domestically and internationally to support service and repair operations.
• Analyze data and prepare parts/tools for field activities.
• Inspect and test engines and propulsion systems; maintain records.
• Provide technical guidance to customers and service teams.
• Collaborate to improve manuals and documentation.
