Job summary

Tricon-Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to handle a broad range of repairs across occupied homes in a California territory. Responsibilities include plumbing, electrical, HVAC filter changes, painting, and safety compliance, with on-site and travel between properties as needed.

Customer service and teamwork are essential when coordinating with residents, vendors, and managers. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, 2 years in maintenance, and the ability to

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
2 years maintenance/construction background.
Daily travel between properties.
Lift objects weighing 50lbs or more regularly.
Must be able to work in environmentally and physically challenging conditions.
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

Respond to service requests in a professional and timely manner.
Repair faucets, sinks, toilets, water heaters, garbage disposals, and related items.
Repair or replace electrical outlets, switches, breakers, GFCI’s, and light fixtures.
Repair or replace pre-hung doors, locksets, hinges, and hardware.
Keep leasing offices, common areas, restrooms, and vacant units clean.
Identify unsafe conditions and follow safety rules; use PPE as required.
