Job summary

Tricon Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to perform a wide range of maintenance tasks across HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs. You will provide excellent customer service to residents and coordinate with AMM-T/CMC to prioritize tasks.

This role requires strong communication, safety awareness, and the ability to manage service requests efficiently while maintaining a clean, safe work environment across multiple properties.

Qualifications

• EPA 608 Certification (Type II or Universal) is required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 5 years maintenance/construction background preferred.
• Ability to travel daily between properties.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly.
• On-call and overtime work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Repair HVAC systems including diagnosis, cleaning, parts replacement, and refrigerant handling.
• Electrical work: inspect and repair electrical connections, outlets, switches, and breakers.
• Plumbing: repair or replace faucets, sinks, toilets, water heaters, and drainage lines.
• Ductwork: inspect, seal leaks, and measure airflow.
• Perform general hardware and carpentry repairs (doors, trim, cabinets).
• Accurately complete time sheets and use work order and inventory systems.
