Job summary

Tricon Residential is seeking a Construction Technician II to perform cleanup, repair, and replacement of various household items in vacant properties, ensuring a safe, attractive living environment for residents.

The role includes driving a company van, handling a range of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC tasks, and collaborating with the ACM, PC, and CS to prioritize daily work. A valid driver's license is required and a commitment to safety is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5 years maintenance/construction background preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs regularly.
• Ability to work on-call and overtime hours as needed.
• Experience using laptops, iPads, and smartphones for work tasks.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clearly and empathetically with team members, residents and vendors.
• Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with residents and vendors.
• Prioritize tasks with ACM/PC/CS guidance.
• Respond to and complete service requests promptly.
• Repair or replace plumbing fixtures and minor electrical components.
• Repair or replace doors, windows, and hardware as needed.
• Replace HVAC filters and maintain air flow.
• Clean and maintain a safe work environment.
• Accurately fill out time sheets and use work order systems.
