Job summary

Tricon is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service multiple properties across California. The role involves plumbing, electrical and general repair tasks, with daily travel between sites and a strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, 2 years of maintenance experience, and be comfortable using laptops/tablets and mobile devices to manage work orders. On-call availability and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Skilled in installation, troubleshooting and repair of plumbing, electrical and hardware items.
• Experience using technology to manage work orders and inventory.
• Able to work on-call and overtime hours as needed.
• Strong written and verbal communication with residents, vendors, and team.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clearly, compassionately, and with empathy with team members, residents and vendors.
• Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with team members, residents and vendors.
• Prioritize tasks with AMM-T and/or CMC and ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Represent the community professionally; deliver communications to residents; address concerns in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Respond and complete service requests in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Repair or replace faucets, sinks, toilets, water heaters, and other minor plumbing repairs.
• Repair or replace electrical outlets, switches, breakers, and light fixtures.
• Repair or replace doors, locks, and other minor hardware repairs.
• Clean leasing offices and common areas prior to marketing or occupancy.
• Keep exterior areas clean and attractive.
• Identify and correct unsafe conditions and follow safety rules.
