Maymont Homes is seeking a Maintenance Field Manager to lead an in-house maintenance team for a multi-property portfolio. You will drive timely, high-quality work order completion while upholding company standards and resident satisfaction.

This role requires strong leadership and hands-on technical expertise in residential systems, plus the ability to manage high-volume field operations in a fast-paced environment. On-site work with travel as needed to properties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in maintenance, facilities, or operations leadership.
• Experience managing field maintenance teams.
• Residential property management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field maintenance operations and timely work orders.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance to technicians.
• Conduct field visits to assess performance and quality.
• Train technicians on standards, safety, and procedures.
• Develop proactive maintenance strategies to boost efficiency.
• Organize high-volume workflows with scheduling support.
• Coordinate with dispatch to ensure alignment.
• Standardize documentation and SOPs across the field team.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Enforce maintenance standards and policies.
• Identify and escalate safety risks as needed.
• Monitor KPIs like productivity and completion rates.
• Analyze data to drive cost savings and efficiency.
• Support maintenance budget management.
• Lead, coach, and develop field staff.
• Foster accountability and customer service mindset.
• Collaborate with internal teams on maintenance initiatives.
• Communicate expectations and provide feedback.
• Support special projects and process improvements.
