Job summary

Maymont Homes in Indianapolis seeks a Maintenance Field Manager to lead in-house maintenance technicians across a single-family rental portfolio. You will ensure timely, high-quality work orders, resident satisfaction, and adherence to company standards.

As hands-on technical leader and operations manager, you will coach technicians, implement proactive maintenance plans, manage field workflows, and partner with dispatch while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance across properties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5+ years in maintenance or operations leadership for field teams.
• Residential property management or SFR experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, safety, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach in-house maintenance technicians across the portfolio.
• Ensure timely, high‑quality completion of work orders.
• Develop proactive maintenance strategies to reduce reactive work.
• Schedule and delegate field workloads; liaison with dispatch.
• Maintain safety standards and compliance with codes and policies.
• Monitor KPIs: productivity, costs, and service levels.
• Provide executive‑level reporting on field performance.
• Travel up to 30% to various properties as required.
