Job summary

Mustang Cat in Southeast Texas is seeking a Field Logistics Supervisor to lead field-based delivery and parts logistics for the Parts Division. You will supervise drivers, coordinate schedules, and ensure compliant, safe, and efficient operations.

The role requires 3+ years in logistics or fleet operations, strong organizational and communication skills, and a commitment to safety. Opportunity to develop leadership across Parts, Service, and Safety teams with strong benefits and growth potential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise, schedule, and support fleet delivery drivers to ensure timely and accurate parts deliveries.
• Coordinate delivery schedules, communicate changes, and arrange backup coverage to minimize service disruptions.
• Manage fleet documentation and compliance, including vehicle registrations, inspections, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of fleet activities, including mileage, maintenance histories, and incident reports.
• Coordinate on-site parts logistics, including parts storage, stocking, and delivery operations.
• Monitor driver performance and safety practices through ride-alongs, evaluations, and ongoing coaching.
• Ensure company vehicles and forklifts meet applicable maintenance, documentation, and compliance requirements.
• Partner with Parts, Service, and Safety teams to support efficient operations and consistent service standards.
• Monitor logistics expenses and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and control costs.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and developing logistics personnel.
• Promote a strong Safety First culture across all fleet and delivery operations.

Mustang Cat, the authorized Caterpillar® dealer for Southeast Texas, is hiring an experienced Field Logistics Supervisor to oversee fleet delivery operations and field-based logistics for our Parts Division.

What You'll Do as a Field Logistics Supervisor:

As a Field Logistics Supervisor, you'll lead Mustang Cat's field-based delivery and logistics operations while ensuring safe, efficient, and customer-focused service across our Parts Division.

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Experience:

• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience in logistics, transportation, or fleet operations
• College degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Experience managing delivery drivers or coordinating multi-vehicle fleet operations
• Familiarity with fleet maintenance, vehicle inspections, and regulatory compliance
• Experience with parts distribution, heavy equipment, or industrial supply operations
• Experience managing logistics costs, driver performance, and operational improvements
