Job summary

Mustang Cat in Southeast Texas is seeking a Field Logistics Supervisor to lead field-based delivery and parts logistics for the Parts Division. You will supervise drivers, coordinate schedules, and ensure compliant, safe, and efficient operations.

The role requires 3+ years in logistics or fleet operations, strong organizational and communication skills, and a commitment to safety. Opportunity to develop leadership across Parts, Service, and Safety teams with strong benefits and growth potential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, fleet operations, transportation, or a related field.
• Strong organizational, scheduling, and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lead teams, coordinate multiple priorities, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics or fleet tracking systems.
• Strong understanding of fleet operations, delivery coordination, and operational efficiency.
• Ability to work independently, resolve problems, and adapt to changing business needs.
• Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Flexibility to be available outside normal business hours.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, schedule, and support fleet delivery drivers to ensure timely and accurate parts deliveries.
• Coordinate delivery schedules, communicate changes, and arrange backup coverage to minimize service disruptions.
• Manage fleet documentation and compliance, including vehicle registrations, inspections, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of fleet activities, including mileage, maintenance histories, and incident reports.
• Coordinate on-site parts logistics, including parts storage, stocking, and delivery operations.
• Monitor driver performance and safety practices through ride-alongs, evaluations, and ongoing coaching.
• Ensure company vehicles and forklifts meet applicable maintenance, documentation, and compliance requirements.
• Partner with Parts, Service, and Safety teams to support efficient operations and consistent service standards.
• Monitor logistics expenses and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and control costs.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and developing logistics personnel.
• Promote a strong Safety First culture across all fleet and delivery operations.
