Job summary

Hoffman Building Technologies, Inc. seeks an Electrical Installation Manager to lead day-to-day low-voltage and instrumentation installation activities on construction projects. The role ensures safety, code compliance, and alignment with project plans, serving as the field lead for subcontractors and technicians.

You will mentor technicians, coordinate with safety teams, and drive high-quality installations while maintaining accurate progress records and coordinating with project managers.

Qualifications

• Active Master Electrician license in at least one state; NC preferred.
• Experience in industrial construction with low-voltage systems and instrumentation.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and NFPA standards; ability to read schematics and one-lines.
• Proven leadership of electricians and subcontractors on active job sites.
• Ability to coordinate with safety teams and implement LOTO and arc-flash procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee low-voltage installation and instrumentation activities on construction projects.
• Inspect installations for code compliance, labeling, grounding, and workmanship.
• Mentor technicians in circuit theory, loop checks, and functional testing.
• Lead troubleshooting and fault isolation of control/instrumentation circuits.
• Coordinate with safety teams to enforce electrical safety practices and regulatory compliance.
