Job summary

Harris is seeking a Master Electrician to lead field installations for low voltage building automation systems. You will plan layouts, coordinate with project management, manage budgets and crews, and mentor junior electricians on safety and best practices.

This role emphasizes autonomy, quality, and strong safety culture, including participation in design reviews and on-site leadership for projects across multiple sites.

Qualifications

  • Active Master Electrician license required.
  • 5+ years of experience with mechanical and electrical systems.
  • 5+ years of experience with test equipment such as multimeters and digital analyzers.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, and manuals.
  • Proficient knowledge of building codes and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring and equipment per job specs and local codes.
  • Connect wires to components to ensure a complete, operable system.
  • Test systems and circuits for safety and compatibility using meters and testing devices.
  • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring and equipment with various tools.
  • Lead project installation teams and manage budgets and materials.
