Job summary

Hoffman Construction Co of America seeks a Low Voltage Electrical Field Superintendent to lead a large semiconductor project on site in Boise, ID. You will supervise the low voltage team, coordinate with subs and clients, manage RFIs/submittals, and ensure QA/QC and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of low voltage electrical construction
• Experience on large industrial or hi-tech fabrication projects
• Familiar with low voltage distribution, UPS, cleanroom installations
• Experience organizing technical data; CSI specifications
• Proficient in Windows and MS 365
• Experience with project management software such as Prolog, Procore, E-Builder, Bluebeam, MS Project and Primavera P6
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day activities with other superintendents, low voltage subcontractors, and other discipline subcontractors
• ,
• Supervise multiple subcontractors and crafts
• ,
• Maintain and adjust project schedule daily
• ,
• Manage RFIs and submittals with Client/Architect
• ,
• Oversee cost control and QA/QC program
• ,
• Enforce safety protocols
• ,
• Provide resolutions to design and constructability issues
• ,
• Respond to client requests and develop solutions using technical expertise
• ,
• Must interpret and implement installations compliant with local codes and site specs
• ,
• Provide supporting information regarding field conditions and scope for cost estimates
• Facilitate contractor activity ensuring performance by all contracts
• Assist with staffing of the project
• Work with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors
