Job summary

Manatal is seeking an Electrical Installation Manager to oversee day-to-day low-voltage and instrumentation installation activities on industrial construction projects. You will ensure compliance with NEC/NFPA codes, client standards, and project plans while coordinating with subcontractors and safety teams for safe, high-quality installations.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master Electrician license and have industrial construction experience with low-voltage systems.
• Strong knowledge of NEC/NFPA and industrial electrical standards.
• Ability to read electrical plans, one-lines, schematics and installation details.
• Proven experience leading or supervising electricians and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee low-voltage subcontractor installation of control, instrumentation, and communication circuits to meet design specs and project standards.
• Perform field inspections and audits for code compliance, workmanship, labeling, and manufacturer guidelines.
• Mentor instrumentation technicians in circuit theory, wiring verification, loop checks, and functional testing.
• Lead troubleshooting for low-voltage control and instrumentation circuits, guiding fault isolation and documenting actions.
• Collaborate with safety teams to enforce LOTO, arc-flash boundaries, PPE, and energized-work rules; participate in toolbox talks and JHAs.
• Verify site readiness before testing and commissioning, ensuring proper terminations, grounding, and device installation.
• Maintain records of progress, inspections, punch items, and corrective actions; provide status updates to project managers.
