Job summary

Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer - Trimble Designer CAD to support field crews and in-house designers. You will collect and create points from contract documents to establish field layouts, including ducts and conduits, elevations, sleeves, walls, and hangers.

The role requires 2-3 years surveying experience, 2 years CAD experience, and proficiency with Trimble software/hardware and MS Office. A valid drivers license is essential, and a self-starter attitude is valued.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years surveying experience or equivalent vocational training
• 2 years CAD experience
• Strong computer skills; MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint
• Current valid drivers license
• Self-starter and reliable with meeting deadlines
• Ability to work and communicate with others

Responsibilities

• Assist field crews and designers by collecting/creating points from contract documents for field layout
• Use CAD software for layout tasks (duct, pipe, conduits, elevations, sleeves, walls, hangers)
• Operate Trimble software/hardware in field environments
• Maintain and calibrate equipment daily and ensure safety
• Travel as needed (typical, not overnight)
