Job summary

Atlantic Constructors, Inc. in Roanoke, VA is seeking a Field Engineer - Trimble Designer CAD to support field layout for duct, pipe, conduits, elevations, sleeves and hangers in coordination with field crews and in-house designers.

You will use CAD and Trimble software, perform 3D spatial visualization, maintain equipment, and ensure accuracy while meeting deadlines. This role requires 2-3 years surveying experience, CAD skills, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

2-3 years experience in surveying
Two years CAD experience
Strong computer skills with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Current valid driver's license
Must possess good work ethic and be accountable for deadlines
Must be a self-starter
Ability to work and communicate with others
Must have acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

Working in the field environment
Assisting field crews as well as other customers with layout
Ability to use CAD software
Ability to use Trimble software and hardware
3D spatial visualization/thinking skills
Maintaining equipment on a daily basis and staying current with the annual calibration
Other duties as assigned
