Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer - Trimble Designer CAD to support field layout activities in Roanoke, VA.

You will assist field crews and in-house designers by collecting points from contract documents to establish precise field layouts for duct, pipe, conduits, elevations and hanger placements. Qualified candidates have 2–3 years of surveying experience, 2+ years CAD experience, and strong computer skills (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).

Qualifikationen

• 2-3 years experience in surveying or equivalent vocational training
• Two years CAD experience
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Current valid driver's license
• Good work ethic, able to meet deadlines and be self-starting
• Ability to communicate with others

Aufgaben

• Assist field crews and in-house designers and detailers to establish field layouts from contract documents
• Create and collect points for horizontal layout of duct, pipe, conduits, elevations, sleeves, wall layout, hangers, etc.
• Work in field environments with varying temperatures and conditions
• Maintain and calibrate equipment; use CAD and Trimble software as required
