You will collect or create points from contract documents to establish field layout for duct, pipe, conduits, elevations, sleeves, walls and hangers, using CAD and Trimble tools in a dynamic field setting. Required: 2–3 years surveying experience, 2 years CAD experience, proficiency with Word/Excel/PowerPoint, valid driver's license, and a proactive,

Qualifications

• 2-3 years experience in surveying and/or equivalent combination of vocational training and experience.
• Two years CAD experience.
• Must have strong computer skills and have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Current valid driver's license.
• Must possess good work ethic and be accountable for deadlines.
• Must be a self-starter.
• Ability to work and communicate with others.

Responsibilities

• Assist field crews and in-house designers and detailers by collecting or creating points from contract documents to establish field layout for various purposes.
• Horizontal layout of duct, pipe, conduits, elevations, sleeves, wall layout, and hangers.
• Use CAD software and Trimble tools in a field setting.
• Maintain equipment and participate in calibration as required.
