Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer - Trimble Designer CAD to support field crews and designers.

The role involves creating precise field layouts from contract documents, using CAD and Trimble tools, and ensuring accurate 3D spatial visualization of ducts, pipes, elevations and hangers. Qualified candidates have 2–3 years surveying experience, 2 years CAD experience, and strong computer skills including Word/Excel/PowerPoint; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience in surveying or equivalent vocational training and experience.
• Two years CAD experience required with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Current valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Strong work ethic, reliability and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with teams.
• Prior military experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist field crews and designers with field layout from contract documents.
• Create points for horizontal layout of duct, pipe, elevations and hangers.
• Operate CAD and Trimble software in the field and office environments.
• Maintain calibration of equipment and comply with safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with team to ensure accurate field layouts and timely delivery.
