Job summary

Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer - Trimble Designer CAD to support field crews and design teams in Richmond, VA. The role emphasizes layout of ducts, pipes, elevations, and other components using CAD/Trimble tools in a dynamic construction environment.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years surveying experience, CAD proficiency, and strong software skills. The position requires a valid driver’s license and ability to work in varying conditions, with a focus on accuracy and timely

Qualifications

• 2-3 years experience in surveying and/or equivalent combination of vocational training and experience

Responsibilities

• Working in the field environment
• Assisting field crews as well as other customers with layout
• Ability to use CAD software
• Ability to use Trimble software and hardware
• 3D spatial visualization/thinking skills a must
• Must possess strong problem solving skills
• Maintaining equipment on a daily basis and staying current with the annual calibration
• Other duties as assigned
