Job summary

Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer - Trimble Designer CAD to join our Sterling, VA team.

The role supports field crews and in-house designers by creating field layouts from contract documents with horizontal duct, pipe, and conduit layouts, elevations, sleeves, and hangers. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years surveying experience, at least two years CAD experience, and proficiency with Trimble and CAD software.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years experience in surveying or equivalent training
• Two years CAD experience required
• Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Current valid driver's license
• Good work ethic and ability to meet deadlines
• Self-starter with good communication

Responsibilities

• Assist field crews and designers with layout from contract documents
• Create field layout for duct, pipe, conduits, elevations, sleeves
• Operate CAD software and Trimble tools
• Maintain equipment and stay current with calibration
• Support field operations in varying environments
