Job summary

Terracon is seeking a field technician to perform testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials, including soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel. You will document results and support the project team with data submission and reporting.

Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, safety adherence, and assisting with scheduling on projects. Candidates should have a high school diploma and 1–2 years of relevant experience, with preferred NICET/ICC/AWS certifications.

Qualifications

• Requires NICET/ICC/AWS certifications listed in the preferred qualifications section
• ACI certification in concrete testing technician areas is required
• Successful completion of internal safety certifications is expected

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials per procedures
• Provide documented findings and results to the Project Manager
• Maintain and calibrate related equipment and keep work areas safe
• Assist with scheduling and dispatch of technicians on projects
