Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking hands-on IT/Telecom technicians to support a national client base. You may install operating systems, diagnose hardware, set up software, run structured cabling, and perform telecom tasks across varied sites.

Candidates should have 1+ year IT/Telecom experience or 5+ years field experience, with optional A+/Network+ certs. This is a 1099 contractor position with travel pay and on-site duties.

Qualifications

• 1 year of IT or Telecom field experience required.
• Certification options include A+ or Network+, or 5+ years of verifiable field experience.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling including drilling, running, and dressing cables.
• Telecom work such as punch-downs and demarc extensions.
• Work independently across retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate settings.
• Maintain professionalism with clients and be on-call within territory.
