Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking hands-on I.T. or Telecom technicians to support our national client base. This role goes beyond desk work: you may install operating systems, run structured cabling, or terminate a 66-block across buildings.

You’ll work across retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate settings, maintaining professionalism and responsiveness. On-call availability is a strong plus, with paid hourly on site and travel pay for coverage within ~80 miles of home.

Qualifications

• 1 year of IT or Telecom experience, or 5+ years field experience
• One of A+ or Network+ Certification
• PC and printer troubleshooting experience is a strong plus

Responsibilities

• Install OS, diagnose hardware, and set up software
• Install and maintain structured cabling across buildings
• Perform telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions, etc.)
• Work independently in retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate environments
• Be on call to respond to service requests within territory
