Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking skilled IT/Telecom technicians to support our growing national client base. This role goes beyond typical helpdesk tasks, including OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and structured cabling across multiple sites.

You will work independently in diverse environments—retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate—maintaining professionalism and responsiveness. A reliable vehicle, valid license, and on-call availability are required; travel opportunities and on-site pay

Qualifications

• PC and printer troubleshooting experience is a strong plus.
• At least 1 year of IT/Telecom experience with one cert or 5+ years of field work.
• Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver\'s license.
• Standard IT tools, laptop with Ethernet, smartphone hotspot.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling (drilling, running, dressing cables).
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions).
• Work independently across environments: retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate.
• Maintain professionalism with clients.
• Be on call and respond to service requests within territory.
