Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking skilled field technicians to support our national client base. This role goes beyond basic helpdesk tasks, including OS installs, cabling, and telecom work across diverse sites.

You will work as a 1099 contractor, travel within an approximate 80-mile radius, and use app-based tracking for time and travel. Expect exposure to new technologies and opportunities to expand your skills and industry knowledge.

Qualifications

• 1 year IT/Telecom experience mandatory.
• Own a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to be on-call 24/7 and work across multiple environments.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling installation and cable management.
• Telecom work including punch-downs and demarc extensions.
• Work independently across retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate sites.
• Maintain professionalism with clients and respond to service requests within territory.
