Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking skilled field technicians to support our nationwide client base. You will perform OS installs, hardware diagnostics, and software setup, plus cabling and telecom tasks across multiple environments.

We offer a paid hourly on-site role as a 1099 contractor with travel pay and time-tracking app-based timekeeping, enabling exposure to diverse technologies and new clients.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
• At least 1 year IT or Telecom experience; certifications preferred.
• Silver bullets: A+ or Network+ or 5+ years field experience in IT/Telecom.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling (drilling, running, and dressing cables).
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions, etc.).
• Work independently across environments: retail, medical, restaurant, corporate.
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism with clients; be on-call within territory.
