Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking skilled field technicians to support our national client base. This role goes beyond a desk job, involving OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and end-to-end cabling across diverse buildings.

If you thrive in the field, you will travel across retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate sites, maintain professionalism, and be on-call to respond to service requests within your territory. Paid hourly on-site and 1099 contractor position.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of IT/Telecom experience
• Certification (A+ or Network+) or 5+ years of verifiable field experience in IT/Telecom

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup
• Structured cabling (drilling, running, and dressing cables)
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions)
• Work independently across retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate environments
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism with clients
• Be on call and ready to respond to service requests within your territory
