Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking skilled IT/Telecom technicians to support our national client base. This role goes beyond standard helpdesk work, including OS installs, hardware diagnostics, software setup, and structured cabling across buildings.

You will work independently in diverse environments (retail, medical, restaurant, corporate) and maintain a high level of professionalism with clients. On-call availability within your territory is a strong advantage, with travel pay and on-site hourly

Qualifications

• At least 1 year IT/Telecom experience
• A+ or Network+ certification or 5+ years field experience
• Ability to work across various environments and perform hands-on tasks

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup
• Structured cabling (drilling, running, dressing cables)
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions)
• Work independently across retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate environments
• Be on call and respond to service requests within territory
