Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking skilled IT/Telecom technicians to support our growing national client base. This role goes beyond basic helpdesk tasks, including OS installs, cabling, and telecom work across diverse environments.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in IT/Telecom or hold A+/Network+ or equivalent 5+ years field experience, plus own tools and reliable transportation. On-call availability and travel within a broad territory are required.

Qualifications

• PC and printer troubleshooting experience (a strong plus)
• At least 1 year of I.T. or Telecom experience, and one of the following: A+ Certification, Network+ Certification, OR 5+ years verifiable field experience in I.T./Telecom

Responsibilities

• Perform OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup
• Structured cabling, drilling, running, and dressing cables
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions, etc.)
• Work independently across environments: retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism with clients
• Be on call and ready to respond to service requests within your territory
