Job summary

AMG Tech Support is looking for hands-on IT/Telecom technicians to support our national client base in the field, not just helpdesk. You might install an OS, run structured cabling, or terminate a 66-block across large buildings.

If you thrive in the field and enjoy varied site work—from retail to medical facilities—you’ll fit right in. Travel within your territory is expected, with on-call availability and professional communication with clients.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of IT or Telecom experience.
• One of the following certifications: A+ or Network+.
• Alternatively, 5+ years verifiable field IT/Telecom experience.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling (drilling, running, and dressing cables).
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions, etc.).
• Work independently across retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate sites.
• Maintain professionalism with clients.
• Be on call and respond to service requests within your territory.
