Job summary

AMG Tech Support seeks skilled field technicians to support our national client base beyond typical helpdesk tasks. You’ll install operating systems, diagnose hardware, and perform structured cabling at diverse sites, including retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate environments.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year IT/Telecom experience, plus certifications or equivalent field background. A reliable vehicle, valid license, and 24/7 on-call readiness are expected.

Qualifications

• PC and printer troubleshooting experience is a strong plus.
• At least 1 year of I.T. or Telecom experience, and one of: A+ Certification, Network+ Certification, or 5+ years verifiable field experience.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling (drilling, running, dressing cables).
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions).
• Work independently across environments: retail, medical, restaurant, corporate.
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism with clients.
• Be on call and ready to respond to service requests within territory.
