Qualifications

- 4-6 years of IT experience in systems administration or related field.
Responsibilities
- Monitors and supports IT systems and infrastructure.
- Performs planning, design, and evaluation of IT tools.
- Serves as back-up for user requests and upgrades.
- Troubleshoots and resolves complex problems with minimal supervision.
- Implements standards for computer operations across hardware and software.
- Administers and tests operating systems and related software.
- Schedules, performs, and monitors backups and data recoveries.
- Performs root-cause analysis, diagnostics, and production monitoring.
- Identifies opportunities for process improvements and implements efficiencies.
- Maintains relevant systems documentation and user guides.
- Participates in planning/design of new platforms and integrating tech.
- Conducts cost analysis of new platforms and tech.
- Creates recovery plans to reduce downtime during outages.
- Reviews problem management logs and actions.
- Applies scripting to automate related tasks.
