• 4-6 years in information technology, systems administration or related field.
• Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem and products.
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve complex system problems.
• Ability to plan and deploy new technology and resolve technical issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and digital workspace technologies.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and supports IT systems and infrastructures.
• Conducts moderately complex analysis including planning, designing and evaluating IT tools.
• Backs up responses to user requests for system needs and upgrades.
• Troubleshoots and resolves complex problems with minimal supervision.
• Implements standards for computer operations and hardware/software compatibility.
• Administers, tests, and maintains operating systems and related software.
• Schedules and monitors backups; performs data recoveries when needed.
• Performs root cause analysis, diagnostics and monitoring on production systems.
• Identifies improvement opportunities and implements efficiencies.
• Creates and maintains systems documentation and user guides.
• Plans and designs new platforms; integrates new technologies and assesses releases.
• Conducts cost analysis of new platforms and technologies.
• Creates recovery plans to reduce downtime in outages.
• Reviews problem management actions and enacts next steps.
• Applies scripting to automate related tasks.
