Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support IT and systems infrastructures.
• Conduct planning, designing, and evaluating IT tools.
• Respond to user requests for system needs and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems with minimal supervision.
• Implement standards for computer operations across hardware and software.
• Administer, test, and maintain operating systems and related software.
• Schedule and monitor system backups; perform data recoveries as needed.
• Perform root cause analysis, diagnostics, and monitoring of production systems.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement efficiencies.
• Create and maintain system documentation and user guides.
• Engage in planning and designing new platforms; evaluate new technologies.
• Conduct cost analysis of new platforms and technologies.
• Develop recovery plans to reduce downtime during outages.
• Review the problem management register and take action.
• Apply scripting to automate related tasks.
