Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Field Support Technician to provide remote and on-site IT support for ANG modernization across CONUS installations. This role requires more than 50% travel and occasional remote work, ensuring secure, standardized hardware and software deployments.

You will work with engineers, cybersecurity, logistics, and program management to install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain IT systems, while staying compliant with DoW and DoD requirements.

Qualifications

• DoD 8140 Level II certification (Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, CND) required.
• Experience with enterprise hardware and common networking technologies.
• Ability to interpret engineering docs, drawings, wiring diagrams, and procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, maintain, repair and modify equipment per site assessments.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Travel >50% to customer sites for field deployments.
• Provide on-site end-user training and support.
• Review configurations to ensure successful service delivery.
