Job summary

SGS Consulting is seeking a capable Field IT Support Technician to provide onsite technical assistance for POS systems, printers, scanners, PCs, and related hardware across multiple client sites in Florida. You will diagnose issues, install and maintain IT equipment, and deliver reliable service in retail and pharmacy environments.

You will travel between locations, resolve tickets within SLA, support after-hours on rotation, and maintain accurate records of repairs while delivering excellent

Qualifications

• Trade school or college education or equivalent experience is required.
• 1–3+ years of IT support or field service experience.
• Experience repairing and upgrading computer systems and peripherals.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite technical support for POS systems, printers, scanners, PCs, and related hardware.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues at retail and pharmacy locations.
• Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment across multiple sites.
• Travel between client locations to perform scheduled and emergency service calls.
• Ensure timely resolution of service tickets within SLA requirements.
• Support high-severity incidents including after-hours and weekend coverage on rotation.
• Maintain accurate documentation of service activities and repairs.
• Deliver strong customer service and communicate effectively with store staff.
