Job summary

Vallarta Supermarkets is seeking an IT Field Technician to provide onsite support at store locations, focusing on POS systems, hardware, and store tech infrastructure. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and coordinate with vendors while traveling across the assigned area.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of IT field experience, strong customer service, valid driver's license, and the ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting across hardware, software, and networking.
• Excellent customer service and communication with store teams.
• Willing to work flexible hours in a retail environment.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and manage ladders or lifts when required.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite service and support during field visits or dispatches.
• Install, repair, and maintain store technology systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot POS systems (Encor & Aloha), networking, telephony, and servers.
• Perform hardware replacements and warranty coordination.
• Document all work performed and maintain logs for mileage and inventory.
