Job summary

CTS - IT & Cybersecurity Services in New York seeks a Field Services Technician to deliver on-site support and proactive IT maintenance for our clients.

You will troubleshoot, install, and configure workstations, servers, and cloud apps, travel across the NY metro area, and work with cross‑functional teams to meet SLAs.

A strong background in networking, Windows/macOS, and MSP tools is expected, with a focus on customer service and reliable on-site execution.

Qualifications

• Experience in WAN/LAN networking, routing, switching, security, and load balancing.
• Experience in WLAN technologies including Meraki, UniFi, and Cisco.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server, Windows Desktop, and Apple Ecosystem.
• Experience with Grandstream or other Asterisk-based PBX systems.
• Experience with Android, iOS, G Suite, and Office365.
• Experience with MDM solutions.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with service delivery teams (Internal Systems, POD Teams, and Engineering).
• Be available to go onsite daily to a scheduled client for an onsite visit.
• Provide onsite installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of workstation, server, and cloud applications for CTS clients.
• Respond to and resolve service requests/incidents per SLAs; track time using ConnectWise Manage.
• Liase with internal teams, vendors and client contacts.
• Perform onsite recurring maintenance at client sites.
• Serve as a resource for internal/client-facing projects.
• Complete all work assigned by Service Delivery Coordinator/Dispatcher or Supervisor.
