Job summary

Compucom Systems, Inc. is seeking a Field Tech II to provide onsite IT support for Lowe's in Maryland. The role involves hands-on troubleshooting of desktops, printers, POS, access points, and network devices, with travel to multiple Lowe's locations daily.

Two weeks of onsite training will be provided. A company vehicle and tools are supplied. Qualifications include 1+ year IT field experience and CompTIA A+; Network+ preferred. Benefits and competitive hourly pay are offered.

Qualifications

• 1+ year IT technical support or field technician experience.
• CompTIA A+ is required; Network+ preferred.
• Experience with Windows, macOS or Linux environments.
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals and IT hardware.
• Experience with copper/fiber cabling is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite support for IT equipment including POS systems, desktops, printers, thin clients, access points and network devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and network issues.
• Perform installations, upgrades and break/fix support.
• Support copper and fiber cabling, including basic terminations.
• Document all work, updates and resolutions in ticketing systems.
• Travel daily to Lowe's locations for onsite support at multiple Maryland sites.
