Job summary

Bosch Home Comfort Group is seeking a detail-oriented Field IT Support professional to join our Norman, Oklahoma team. You will provide on-site and remote technical support, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities include installing and maintaining IT equipment, documenting tickets, and collaborating with the IT team to implement long-term fixes. Travel to field locations will be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of IT support, help desk, or field service experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with ability to analyze technical problems.
• Proficiency with Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN technologies.
• Experience with IT ticketing systems and ITSM tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to explain technical concepts.
• Ability to manage multiple support requests independently.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to field locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote technical support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues promptly.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot computer systems, peripherals, and network connectivity problems using analytical approaches.
• Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
• Document all support tickets accurately and maintain organized records.
• Perform preventative maintenance and system updates to ensure performance and security.
• Assist with user onboarding by setting up new equipment and orientation.
• Collaborate with IT team to identify recurring issues and implement long-term solutions.
• Travel to various field locations as needed for on-site support.
• Maintain organized inventory of IT equipment and supplies.
• Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
