Job summary

Johnson Controls Milwaukee is seeking Field IT Specialists to provide IT support across connectivity, hardware/software, and incident resolution. You will assist in delivering Enterprise and BU projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities include installing hardware, supporting servers, networks, VOIP, asset and lifecycle management, onsite Smart Hands, security compliance, and coordinating with internal and third-party teams. Travel to satellite offices when needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5 years IT support experience preferred.
• Industry certifications such as MCITP, MCTS, ISP, or CompTIA A+/Network+/Security+ preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service orientation and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT support including connectivity, hardware/software, and incident resolution.
• Support Enterprise and BU projects and initiatives.
• Install hardware and provide ongoing support for PCs, tablets, mobility devices, printers.
• Provide software and local infrastructure support (server, network, VOIP).
• Assist in identifying Enterprise/BU project demand and liaising with stakeholders.
• Deliver Field IT Services per SLTs using JCI toolset.
• Proactively communicate updates to customers and manage expectations.
