Job summary

Roche is seeking a Digital Solutions Engineer to lead the installation of IT product solutions at customer sites, remotely or on-site, with travel up to 25%. The role focuses on validating solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction, and mentoring teammates in a fast-paced healthcare IT environment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines, manage documentation, and maintain regulatory compliance while delivering robust IT solutions for laboratory environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred with experience in IT product installations.
• Experience installing and evaluating laboratory IT systems, automation, or related IT products.
• Knowledge of healthcare integration standards and clinical LIS workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage remote and on-site installation of IT product solutions at customer sites.
• Determine customer needs and set installation expectations with aligned resources.
• Validate IT solutions to evaluate effectiveness and performance.
• Ensure customers are satisfied with installations and outcomes.
• Serve as a technical resource for junior staff and mentor new hires.
• Coordinate project activities to meet schedule and performance targets.
• Handle administrative tasks including expensing, reporting, documentation, and regulatory adherence.
• Troubleshoot during installation and post go-live to ensure full functionality.
• Escalate complex issues as needed to achieve resolution.
