Job summary

Unisys is seeking a Field Engineer to support specific clients and products, delivering software, hardware and networking assistance for desktops, laptops, servers, network devices and AV rooms. You will install and maintain PCs and related software, ensuring SLA satisfaction on site.

Success depends on providing reliable support, performing installs/moves/changes, testing and certifying equipment, and following up on issues to ensure client satisfaction across engagements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• May require technical certification or Associate Degree.
• Generally, 1-2years’ experience in area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Serves as Field Engineer for specific clients and/or for specific products and applications, including tech kiosks / desks.
• Provides software, hardware and networking support for desktops, laptops, servers, network devices, AV rooms and other networked devices.
• Installs and maintains PCs and associated software, networks, servers, peripherals and other networked devices.
• Supports network products from both operational and maintenance perspectives, including preventative maintenance activities.
• Performs installs, moves, adds and changes as required.
• Tests and certifies PCs, networks, servers and client approved applications.
• Provides follow-up on problems or escalations.
• Maintains a high degree of professionalism in actions, demeanor and dress.
• Meets SLA requirements and ensures client satisfaction in all interactions.
