Job summary

DMI, LLC is seeking an Installation Technician to join our team in Washington, DC. The role involves interfacing directly with customers, installing and maintaining products, and providing on-site technical support and guidance to ensure optimal system performance.

The position requires the ability to troubleshoot, install, and configure equipment, with mandatory Security+ (or equivalent) certification within 90 days of starting. U.S. citizenship may be required for certain roles.

Qualifications

• Leads other IT subject matter experts for customers, evaluates design and architecture issues, and researches market technologies to design cost-effective solutions.
• Security+ or equivalent certification required within 90 days of start date.
• Security+ or equivalent is required upon hire for Tier 2, Tier 3, and technical roles.

Responsibilities

• Interfaces directly with customers
• Installs, tests, maintains, and repairs products at client/site locations
• Instructs customers in equipment operation and provides technical assistance; performs preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
• Installs, upgrades, and removes products ensuring coordinated engineering field change
• Assembles, installs, and configures systems and equipment per site assessments and schematics
