Job summary

Davis Unlimited Information Technologies, Inc (DUIT) is seeking hardware technicians to join our fast-growing IT team in Maryland. You will install, repair, and troubleshoot computer hardware and peripherals, read technical manuals, and work with Windows environments and AD security.

A valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required. CWIP compliance (A+, Net+, or Sec+), 2–4 years of experience or equivalent education, and strong analytical skills are necessary.

Qualifications

• Must be CWIP compliant with A+, Net+, or Sec+.
• 2–4 years of hardware technician experience or equivalent education.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and troubleshoot computer hardware and peripherals.
• Install Windows, software, antivirus and patches.
• Read and understand technical manuals and schematics.
• Work with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Manage time and priorities, work with minimal supervision.
• Assist end-users remotely.
• Work with Windows 7 and 10; Active Directory security and policies.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Drive company vehicle.
• Available for an 8-hour shift between 6am-6pm as determined by management.
• Lift up to 50 pounds; perform physical demands like lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling.
