Job summary

DMI is seeking a Network Technician to join our team in Crownsville, MD. The role focuses on desktop and server troubleshooting, account management, and equipment deployment in DHS-related environments.

Ideal candidates will have an associate degree or technical certificate with at least three years of computer experience, including Windows infrastructure and device maintenance. U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or technical certificate in a related field; or equivalent military training.
• Three years of experience in a computer-related field.
• Two years of experience in Windows Infrastructure and connected devices.

Responsibilities

• Supports designated sites including DHS locations and satellite offices.
• Provides in-person help desk troubleshooting for software and hardware failures.
• Offers on-site and remote coverage for other locations as needed.
• Articles remote desktop support using provided tools to assist staff.
• Serves as a technical resource to Administrators.
• Manages accounts, permissions, and identities per DHS policies.
• Creates and shares documentation on processes and changes.
• Deploys equipment to meet DHS needs and configures IT equipment.
