Job summary

Equus Workforce Solutions is seeking an on-site technical specialist to address client issues across offices, data centers, and remote sites. You will install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software, resolve network problems, and maintain peripherals.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with strong problem-solving and communication skills. Certifications like A+, Network+, or Azure Fundamentals are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals are advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Interact within cross-functional teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing environments.

Responsibilities

• On-Site Support: Visit client locations to address technical issues, install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software, and resolve network problems.
• Hardware Maintenance: Diagnose and repair hardware failures and replace faulty components; perform preventive maintenance.
• Software Support: Assist users with installations, updates, and patches; troubleshoot software issues and advise on best practices.
• Network Administration: Configure and manage routers, switches, and firewalls; troubleshoot connectivity and monitor performance and security.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain records of service requests, resolutions, and equipment inventory; prepare performance reports.
