Job summary

VC3, Inc. is seeking a field engineer to deliver hands-on IT support at client sites across the United States. The role involves traveling to sites, installing hardware and software, and resolving issues with workstations, printers, and networks while maintaining strong client communication.

You will work closely with VC3 engineers to resolve connectivity problems (VPN, RDS, Citrix) and mentor junior staff, contributing to a reliable, customer-focused IT service delivery.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant technical experience OR 2 years in Field Engineer I role at VC3.
• 5 years of experience managing Windows Client OS (Win10/11), Microsoft 365, Virus and Security, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS.
• 3 years of experience with virtualization technologies: Hyper-V and VMware.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client sites as scheduled and communicate delays to the Service Coordinator.
• Install and set up hardware, software and peripherals at client sites.
• Troubleshoot and resolve onsite workstation and printer issues.
• Collaborate with VC3 technical staff for connectivity issues including ISP, wireless networks, DHCP, DNS, VPN, RDS, Citrix.
• Mentor junior team members and educate clients on technical standards and best practices.
