Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in selling or service environment preferred.
• Ability to lift 25 to 60 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Collaborative and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Service multiple customer locations.
• Receive and stock purchased product at designated customer sites.
• Maintain stocking levels by scanning and ordering as inventory depletes.
• Resolve customer problems promptly to promote loyalty.
• Follow routes defined by routing software and keep route guides updated.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, processes, and cycle time.
• Comply with safety and inspection requirements of the facility.
• Create new orders by engaging with customers to identify needs.
• Probe for customer needs during site visits and support sales to expand Grainger offerings.
• Manage customer inventory and grow accounts through KeepStock program.
• Explain Grainger solutions for customers' MRO needs.
